Sanem Tufan was born in 1984 in Karabük. She graduated from the Sculpture Department of Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, in 2011. She worked at the Eskişehir Tepebaşı Municipality art workshops and later served as a research assistant at Atatürk University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Sculpture Department, within the scope of the Faculty Member Training Program (OYP).
She completed her master’s degree in 2017 and earned her Proficiency in Art (Doctorate) from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Sculpture Department, in 2023. Tufan has taken part in numerous national and international exhibitions and artistic events.
She currently continues her artistic production in her studio located in Beykoz, Istanbul.
